• General Duties

• General Ledger Processing:
  • Preparing and presenting monthly reconciliations on all control accounts using Pastel:
    • Cashbook.
    • Debtors.
    • General Ledger Journals.
    • Petty Cash.
• Creditors:
  • Collating and reconciling creditors for payment monthly. Ensuring all invoices are authorised.
• VAT:
  • Preparing VAT schedule and reconciling to ledger for e‑filing.
  • VAT
    201 Return.
• Debtors (HIMS System):
  • Processing direct payments received.
  • Balancing and processing medical aid payments according to bank statements.
  • Balancing payments received from branches.
  • Processing Journals, transfers, refunds, EFT payments.
  • Compiling outstanding list of unallocated payments for credit controllers follow‑up.
  • General debtors queries.
• General Duties:
  • distributing post.
  • Petty Cash – Reimbursing and balancing.
  • Stationary for branches – Ordering and controlling.
  • Filing of feeslips and preparing boxes for document warehouse collection for archiving.
  • Printing bank statements.
  • Answering telephone.

• Minimum of 2 years bookkeeping experience.
• Experience in medical field will be advantageous.
• Experience in HIMS RIS will be advantageous.

• Grade 12
• Bookkeeping qualification and or relevant experience.
