SUMMARY:

A reputable JSE-listed organisation is seeking an immediately available Accountant to support multiple brands and cost centres on a 4-month contract
. This role suits a technically strong accountant who can step in quickly, add value from day one, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience in brand or cost‑centre accounting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
• Sage 200 Evolution experience is essential
• Advanced Excel skills and strong reporting capability
• High attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Accurate financial processing, journals, and monthly reporting
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations with full supporting schedules
• Prepare VAT calculations and review petty cash claims
• Compile and maintain management and BIC reports
• Distribute monthly income statements and respond to business queries
• Cost tracking, variance analysis, and financial insights to support decision‑making
• Assist with audits, ad‑hoc reporting, and process improvements
