** The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:*
* * Working with experienced environmental and mining professionals on operations improvement projects.
* Assisting mine and plant operations with identifying opportunities for environmental improvement, developing alternative solutions, and making recommendations.
* Advancing Chemours’ safety culture.
* Contributing to team meetings and participating in team activities.
** or this role:
*** Enrollment at an accredited college or university pursuing an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science or comparable fields
* Good capabilities with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point

* Experience with environmental investigations in the field.
* Capability with ArcGIS.
* Familiarity with technical and regulatory aspects of hydrology, water quality, wetlands, protected species, air quality, or related environmental disciplines.
* Strong interest in applying environmental practices to industrial operations
* Participation in relevant activities, organizations, and projects beyond the classroom.
