Inventory Clerk

Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and warehouse management industry, is seeking a Inventory Clerk to join their team. As a Inventory Clerk, you will be part of the Warehouse Operations team supporting inventory control and warehouse management. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

• Ensure the accuracy of physical inventory counts through cycle counting and other assigned duties.
• Conduct regular cycle counts of all warehouse environments, including Dry, Cooler, and Freezer, and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform quality checks on date-sensitive, slow-moving, and obsolete items in collaboration with Merchandising.
• Investigate causes of weight variances, receiving issues, and damaged products resulting from warehouse moves.
• Monitor FIFO items to ensure proper rotation and verify reserve counts for accuracy.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of inventory control experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data entry skills required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic math operations and solve problems effectively.
