Any day / Any shift / Flex coverage

Shift(s):
Mostly 2nd and 3rd

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and highly professional Flex Security Officer to support coverage needs across various client sites. This position is ideal for an experienced security professional who is adaptable, responsive, and comfortable working in a variety of environments. Flex Officers play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security by providing patrols, monitoring activity, and stepping in wherever coverage is needed.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide security coverage at multiple locations, often on short notice

* Conduct foot and vehicle patrols to monitor premises and maintain a visible security presence

* Protect property, assets, staff, and visitors by maintaining a safe and secure environment

* Observe and report any suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations

* Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance

* Enforce company and site-specific policies and procedures

* Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident reports

* Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and other security personnel

* Maintain professional appearance and behavior at all times

Required Qualifications:

* Valid driver's license

* Active Maryland Security Guard Certification (MD Guard Card)

* Ability to work all shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays

* Ability to travel to various assigned sites as needed

* Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills

* Ability to stand, walk, and perform patrol duties for extended periods

Preferred Experience:

* Previous security experience (1+ years preferred)

* Prior flex officer experience or experience working multiple sites

* Experience with patrol-based security, including foot and vehicle patrols

* Customer service experience in a security or public-facing role
