Role Overview

The HRIS Advanced Compensation Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the organization’s Global Advanced Compensation process within Workday. This role serves as the technical Workday subject matter expert for Advanced Compensation configuration, eligibility, plan design, reporting, and data integrity. This position partners closely with the HRIS Compensation team and Global Total Rewards to ensure compensation plans are accurately configured, tested, maintained, and executed across global populations.

The analyst will be responsible for supporting the end‑to‑end Advanced Compensation lifecycle, including configuration, annual pay planning readiness, reporting, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement. This role requires deep expertise in Workday, specifically within Advanced Compensation configuration, Workday reporting, and calculated fields, and a solid understanding of how compensation plans operate at a global scale. This position is 100% Remote but you must sit in MST, CST, or EST and be able to work CST hours Monday‑Friday 8‑5.

Qualifications
  • 3–5+ years of hands‑on Workday experience in an HRIS role.
  • Direct experience with Workday Advanced Compensation configuration.
  • Advanced experience building Workday reports and calculated fields.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting annual compensation/pay planning cycles in Workday.
  • Deep understanding of how compensation plans are structured and executed within Workday.
  • Experience troubleshooting Workday configuration and data issues related to compensation.
  • Ability to translate business compensation requirements into Workday configuration.
  • Years of experience: 3 years.
  • Experience level:
    Experienced.
Salary and Work Hours

Salary: $45 – $47.75 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday Advanced Compensation plans including merit, bonus, and incentive plans.
  • Support global eligibility rules, plan structures, and business process frameworks within Workday.
  • Partner with HRIS Compensation to ensure plan design translates correctly into system configuration.
  • Perform system testing for plan changes, enhancements, and annual compensation cycles.
  • Support configuration for global compensation events, guidelines, and validation rules.
  • Workday Reporting & Calculated Fields
  • Develop and maintain complex Workday reports to support compensation analysis and pay planning validation.
  • Create and maintain calculated fields to support compensation eligibility, reporting, and data accuracy.
  • Provide data validation and audit reporting before, during, and after compensation cycles.
  • Data Integrity - Ensure accuracy of compensation‑related data across Workday.
  • Identify and resolve data issues impacting compensation eligibility or plan participation.
  • Support audits and data validation activities related to compensation.
  • Process Improvement & Optimization – Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the Global Advanced Compensation process within Workday.
  • Recommend system enhancements and configuration improvements.
  • Document processes, configurations, and reporting logic for knowledge continuity.
