Python & Snowflake Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Python & Snowflake Developer in Jersey City, NJ.

Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Python

* Build and optimize multithreaded and multiprocessing Python applications to support scalable data processing

* Develop and maintain data solutions leveraging Snowflake and advanced SQL

* Work with large datasets using pandas and related Python libraries

* Design and implement automated test cases using frameworks such as pytest or unittest

* Contribute to the development of financial applications, ideally within Risk Management domains

* Collaborate within Agile development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions

* Utilize CI/CD pipelines and development tools such as Jenkins and Git to support continuous integration and deployment

* Work effectively both independently and as part of a distributed team

* Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver solutions

* Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and development practices

REQUIREMENTS:

* Minimum of 8 years of related professional development experience

* Extensive expertise in Python, with a strong background in building enterprise applications

* Strong experience with SQL, preferably within Snowflake environments

* Hands-on experience with Snowflake data platforms

* Solid understanding of Python libraries, including pandas

* Experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks

* Experience working in Agile development environments

* Familiarity with enterprise CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and version control systems (e.g., Git)

* Familiarity with AWS cloud technologies

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
