KDB Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled KDB Developer to design and implement scalable, real-time data processing solutions using KDB+ technology.

This role involves building frameworks for storing and accessing large volumes of cross-asset market data, collaborating with business stakeholders, and ensuring operational stability and performance of KDB applications.

• Develop core systems and frameworks based on KDB+ technology.
• Build scalable, real-time processing solutions using agile methodologies.
• Store and manage large volumes of market data (equities, fixed income, FX) for real-time and historical access.
• Partner with traders and quantitative analysts to capture requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure operational stability, resiliency, and performance of KDB applications.
• Write high-quality production code and participate in code reviews.
• Identify opportunities for automation and improve overall application stability.
• Enable KDB data accessibility for cloud-native applications supporting research and AI initiatives.

• Deep understanding of KDB+ technology and Q language with hands‑on experience building large‑scale platforms.
• Expertise in KDB+tick design, data organization, and performance optimization.
• Practical experience with large datasets, query performance tuning, and high‑availability KDB applications.
• Proficiency in SDLC and agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• Hands‑on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and creative approach to solutions.
