Python Developer

Akkodis is seeking an AI/Python Engineer with a client in Charlotte, NC/Jersey City, NJ/Atlanta, GA . Ideally, we are looking for candidates with strong Python, Spring, rest APIs, and RESTEASY experience in web development.

Pay Range: $63-$65/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Design, develop and maintain high-quality Java applications at the company.

Collaborate with teams in other departments to identify and prioritize requirements.

Develop best practices for the company and participate in code reviews with the team and other stakeholders.

Conduct technical analysis to arrive at solutions and create technological artefacts in response to production issues.

10+ years of demonstrable experience in Python development. Additional Java is also a plus

Strong knowledge of Python languages and web API development frameworks like Spring, rest APIs, and RESTEASY

Working knowledge of database technologies (Redis and Oracle). Vector database is a plus, Linux OS and Windows.

Microsoft copilot, AI foundry, copilot studio and Azure is a BIG plus.

Demonstrable expertise in various technical areas, including programming, network administration, and software installation and configuration.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with organizational capabilities.

Experience with IT project management methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.

Familiarity with AI technologies (RAG and LLMs are a big plus). Our application is Python/Java but using LLM to deliver value.

Understand Model development with Generative AI such as GPT, Llamaindex, langchain etc

Open Shift container experience is a plus.

A Bachelors or Master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.

Relevant certifications such as Java Certified Professional (OCP).

Nvidia Triton servers for LLMs

Knowledge of container or cloud computing technologies (Red Hat Open Shift container platform, Azure).

Familiarity with agile software development methodologies (Agile or Scrum).

Experience with CI/CD Dev Ops practices and tools (Git, Jenkins, and Docker).

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with good teamwork capabilities.
