Hybrid Work ArrangementThis role will be hybrid, requiring presence in the Jersey City office 2 times per week.
Requirements & Qualifications- Strong experience with JavaScript, React.js, Type Script, and modern front-end principles.
- Hands‑on experience with React Native and Expo, including OTA update workflows.
- Understanding of monorepo development (NX or similar) and modular architecture.
- Solid grasp of performance optimization for mobile apps, including low‑end device scenarios.
- Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, and performance benchmarking).
- Comfort working with CI/CD pipelines and internal release processes.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration with Product, QA, Design, and Security teams.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience in regulated industries or basic understanding of compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with state‑management libraries (e.g., Zustand, Legend State) and global state patterns.
- Exposure to high‑performance, real‑time applications (gaming, fintech, streaming).
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (A11y/ADA) and ability to implement compliant UI/UX.
- Develop and maintain Android mobile applications using React Native and Expo.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Implement modular, reusable components aligned with design systems.
- Ensure cross‑browser and cross‑platform compatibility for mobile and web.
- Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to monorepo governance.
- Optimize app performance and stability through proactive benchmarking and testing.
- Support strict jurisdictional compliance requirements and accessibility standards.
- Engage in Agile ceremonies (stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Provide constructive feedback during peer reviews and uphold coding best practices.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and knowing when to seek clarification.
- Strong collaboration skills and willingness to assist peers across teams.
- Ownership mindset with a focus on delivering high‑quality outcomes.
The salary range for this position is $140,000 – $170,000 USD, dependent on relevant experience, geography, business needs, and market demand. Additional benefits include medical, vision, and dental insurance; life and disability insurance; a 401(k)-matching program; paid Flexible Time Off; and paid company holidays. Short‑term and long‑term incentive compensation may be available, including cash bonuses and stock program participation.
