Join the 2026 IT Accelerated Development Program (ADP) – Software Developer Track at Raymond James. This full‑time, 12‑month entry‑level program is designed to launch your career in software development.

Raymond James is one of the largest independent financial services firms in the United States. Our Information Technology division supports financial advisors and clients with world‑class technology solutions. The ADP is a multi‑disciplinary experience that combines learning workshops, hands‑on projects, peer‑learning and mentorship.

• The track runs for twelve months.
• Participants learn one core discipline:
  Front‑End, Back‑End, Database, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), COBOL, Software Quality Management, or Cloud technologies.
• After completing the program, graduates transition into a full‑time role in the chosen discipline.

• Execute specified projects and assignments aligned with team alignment.
• Use standard office equipment and required software applications.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Algorithms, data structures, and computational complexity.
• Programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, etc.
• Basic software engineering practices.
• Fundamental concepts of financial services and a professional office environment.
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

• Active participation/leadership in a professional, community, or academic organization.
• Relevant internships or work experience in applicable school or industry organizations.
• Strong academic record and interest in IT.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Task execution on a timeline.

• Troubleshoot and debug code.
• Test and validate solutions.
• Prioritize tasks and deliver results.
• Work independently and on a team.
• Provide customer service and maintain relationships.
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least three months of software development experience, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training approved by HR.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.

Hybrid position – St. Petersburg, FL or Jersey City, NJ. No travel required.

Salary range: $55,000 – $75,000 + benefits.
