As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Bank, you will design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge cloud solutions using AWS services and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform. Your work will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize cloud architectures, while staying ahead of the latest technological advancements.
Job responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy cloud solutions on both on-premises and public cloud platforms.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, with a preference for Terraform, to automate cloud infrastructure.
- Architect and implement solutions using AWS services, including but not limited to S3, EKS, Aurora RDS, Dynamo
DB, Open Search, Lambda, MSK, and IAM. - Develop applications using modern programming languages such as Python, Golang, or Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
- Provide support and guidance on AWS Databricks, if applicable.
- Formal training or certification on Computer Science / Engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
- Strong experience with AWS services and architecture.
- Solid understanding of public cloud architecture and design concepts.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and experience implementing security measures.
- Ability to create comprehensive documentation, primers, and guides for cloud solutions and processes.
- Experience in evaluating different options to achieve cost efficiency and conducting trade-off analysis.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of motivation and initiative.
- Creative thinker with the ability to approach challenges from new angles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of AWS Databricks support is advantageous.
- AWS certification is a plus
