Full Stack developer

Full Stack Engineer – Full Time – Hybrid

Dice is the leading career destination for tech experts. Our client, SYSTEM SOFT TECHNOLOGIES LLC, is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to join a hybrid team across multiple U.S. locations.

This 1‑year contract to hire role focuses on building web applications that automate CA7 scheduling and support CA7/CA11 toolsets. The engineer will provide technical leadership, develop applications in Java/Spring Boot, React/React‑JS, and Oracle SQL, and participate in on‑call support after training.

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack web applications using React/React‑JS, NodeJS, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Automate CA7 scheduling workflows and support CA7/CA11 toolsets through shell scripts, REXX, and Java programs.
• Write RESTful APIs and microservices that integrate front‑end and back‑end components.
• Develop Oracle SQL databases, write SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize performance.
• Participate in Agile team practices: code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and version control with Git/Bitbucket.
• Lead resolution of complex technical problems and provide technical guidance to teammates.
• Communicate effectively with technical, managerial, and vendor audiences.
• Support 7×24×365 on‑call rotation after training.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience building full‑stack web applications.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, React/React‑JS, NodeJS, and Oracle SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with shells, REXX, and mainframe concepts is a plus.

• Mainframe z/OS, JCL, TSO, ISPF.
• Release/Change tools (Endevor/ISPW/Remedy).
• Working knowledge of IBM utilities (IEBCOPY, IEBGENER).
