Security Guard - Part-Time Gate Monitor in Jersey City, NJ

• Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification and/or authorization, directing visitors to appropriate check-in areas, and helping maintain orderly entry and exit.
• Monitor access points, visitor logs, and credential usage, reporting irregularities according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and notifying appropriate contacts as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

Pay Rate: $20.20 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM

• Security Experience – 1+ Years is required.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
