** What You'll Do:*
* + Assist with access control by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the healthcare location, following established procedures and protocols.

+ Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and patients by addressing questions and directing individuals appropriately while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response activities as required.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

+ Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or security-related concerns according to site-specific procedures.

+ Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment.

+ Monitor surveillance equipment and/or alarm systems as required by site protocols.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
