Schedule: Full-Time | Night Shift | 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Job SummaryAcclaim Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking a reliable, alert, and professional Front Desk/Security team member to join our overnight team. This role is essential in maintaining the safety, security, and well-being of our residents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate is observant, calm under pressure, and committed to upholding a secure and welcoming environment during night hours.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor the front entrance to prevent unauthorized access and resident elopement
- Control facility access and oversee visitor sign-in procedures
- Monitor fire alarms, door alarms, and follow all elopement and emergency protocols
- Operate and observe CCTV surveillance systems
- Maintain a secure and orderly front lobby environment
- Enforce facility safety policies and procedures
- Remain informed of and comply with all applicable government regulations and guidelines
- Maintain heightened awareness to identify and respond to suspicious or unsafe activity
- Interact professionally with residents, visitors, and staff while taking appropriate leadership when needed
- Respond promptly, calmly, and effectively to emergencies
- Ability to remain seated for extended periods and move intermittently throughout the shift
- Strong observation and situational awareness skills
- Functional vision and hearing (with or without reasonable accommodations)
- Ability to stand for up to 5 hours per shift
- Ability to lift 5-25 pounds as needed, following OSHA and safety guidelines
- Must meet facility health requirements, including medical and physical evaluations if applicable
