Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Lead / Hunter-Engagement Partner to spearhead business development initiatives within the Insurance vertical (P&C). This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a hunter mentality, strong client engagement skills, and a deep understanding of the insurance domain. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a high level of client solution & market knowledge to help customers succeed with client’s solution offerings.
  • Research potential clients and engage customers for client solutions.
  • Weekly territory/business development and prospect new leads and territory sponsors.
  • Qualify opportunities in the sales stages.
  • Front‑line contact with customers, prospects & leads, and responsible for a quarterly revenue goal.
  • Regularly develop & submit accurate forecasts and reports as required.
  • Possess a strong understanding of client’s solution and competition in the industry and positioning.
  • Develop a territory management strategy, identify and develop sales leads, present capabilities.
  • Coordinate information to develop relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the industry, company, and functional areas in order to strategically generate leads.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills prioritizing daily activities and responsibilities with focus on targets.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent problem‑solving skills.
  • Perform successfully under pressure while prioritizing and handling multiple projects or activities.
  • Travel up to 30% of the time.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in sales or related field.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in client relationship and engagement management roles (including client success roles) in data and analytics space.
  • Experience closing new deals in the Insurance (Property and Casualty) segment.
  • Primary responsibility to ensure that the client gets the desired value out of the relationship with client.
  • Owns a revenue target for the year and works with internal teams (Sales/Product/Delivery/Practices) to ensure targets are met.
  • Proactively manage escalations or issues related to project execution to mitigate risks to customer delight and billings.
  • Create 30‑60‑90 day account management plans covering current state of engagement to upcoming B‑de‑development opportunities.
  • Conduct business reviews in partnership with executive sponsor on a quarterly basis.
  • Showcase client’s point of view as a thought leader in the data & analytics space.
  • Be point person for client questions/concerns relating to overall relationship.
  • Work on being a “trusted advisor” to clients.
  • Serve as client’s first point of escalation and address issues in the best interest of the client.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working with insurance carriers, brokers, or insurtech firms.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation, data analytics, or cloud solutions in insurance.
  • Strong network within the insurance industry.
