Pay range: $60,000 - $120,000. Pay is based on several factors that vary by position, including labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.

All About General MerchandiseExperts in operations, process, and efficiency ensure a consistent experience for guests by keeping products set, in stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing processes for all GM areas. This team also leads Food & Beverage and Food Service, providing a fresh and food‑safe experience, and manages pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.
Responsibilities- Drive total store sales and understand your role in sales growth and its impact on store profitability.
- Manage a team that executes inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing processes for all GM areas.
- Lead a team of experts in operations, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Coordinate pick, pack, and ship fulfillment work (if applicable).
- Create a guest‑obsessed culture and prioritize the guest experience.
- Plan and utilize workload tools to complete all scheduled work and stay guest ready.
- Develop a scheduling plan with team leaders based on business workload and guest traffic.
- Conduct regular check‑ins to ensure tasks and workload completion.
- Manage all GM backroom and sales floor areas, review reporting to identify gaps, and develop corrective plans.
- Oversee team leaders’ workload planning, including transitions and sales plans.
- Drive fulfillment sales by leading the fulfillment team to complete orders accurately and efficiently.
- Use guest insights and competitor information to influence business decisions.
- Plan, manage, and follow‑up on operational change.
- Anticipate and identify changes in store trends.
- Coach team leaders to elevate team skills and expertise.
- Establish accountability through clear expectations and performance management.
- Anticipate staffing needs, create a talent plan, and recruit for short‑ and long‑term positions.
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
- Follow all safe and secure training and processes as a key carrier.
- Address store needs such as emergencies and regulatory visits.
- Perform any other duties as required by the business.
- 4‑year degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen.
- Comfort with ambiguity.
- Conflict management, leadership, and accountability skills.
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, and financial and quantitative analysis.
- Adaptability to current technology needs.
- Independent workload management and task prioritization.
- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues.
- Interpret instructions, reports, and information accurately.
- Efficiently handle, move, and lift merchandise up to 40 lbs.
- Accurately handle cash register operations.
- Climb ladders safely.
- Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays; regular attendance required.
