Overview

Insomnia Cookies is one of the fastest growing, late-night, sweet indulgence companies in the country. We are actively interviewing Shift Leaders for our brand new Jersey City, NJ location on Bay Street. As a Shift Leader, you are the captain of our bakery day or night, helping to own the night by predicting the flow of business, leading the team, and ensuring a productive and fun shift.

• Provide incredible customer service and quality products to all guests in our bakeries
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift, communicating pertinent information, monitoring production efficiency, upholding company standards and procedures, and coaching team members
• Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the cookie crew
• Support and work alongside the Cookie Crew
• Provide a safe, clean working environment and adhere to safe food handling practices
• Manage cash handling and deposits

• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service focused role
• Point of Sale systems experience
• Outstanding communication, time management, and people skills
• Outgoing, friendly, patient demeanor
• Detail oriented and results-focused
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed
