Overview

Large Real Estate Company, based in Jersey City, is looking for an Experienced Property Management Assistant. We are seeking a well-rounded 'take charge' person to assist in Property Manager of several mid and high rise residential/commercial/multi-family rental properties in Jersey City area. The Administrative Assistant will liaise with tenants. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-directed, and reliable and enjoy working with people.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Property Manager of several mid and high rise residential/commercial/multi-family rental properties in Jersey City area.
  • Coordinate tenant communications and liaise with tenants.
  • Help manage tenant relations, coordinate requests for repairs and maintenance, and address other tenant concerns.
  • Maintain organization and manage multiple properties with attention to detail and time management.
  • Work well with a team and be adaptable to a flexible schedule, including weekend availability.
Qualifications
  • The Qualified Candidate Will Have The Following
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills necessary to oversee a number of different properties.
  • Exhibits solid communication skills, with an ability to calmly resolve disputes or complaints.
  • Ability to develop a good rapport with tenants.
  • Must be detail oriented with ability to manage time efficiently.
  • Flexible schedule and must be available to work weekends.
  • Works well with a team.
  • Ability to handle projects.
Knowledge
  • At least 5 years Property Management Administrative Experience.
  • Knowledge of Rent Café and/or Yardi a Plus.
  • Proficient in basic computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel and Google products.

Salary
: $45K to $60K depending on experience
