Quality Assurance Specialist

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking to hire a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist (bilingual Spanish) to join our quality assurance team. The successful candidate will assist in developing and maintaining various programs, databases, and reports aimed at optimizing food safety and quality while actively supporting supplier approval and monitoring of branded products.

Direct hire opportunity with full benefits.

Location:

Jersey City. Salary range: $70k-$80k.

• Interact with manufacturing, storage, and distribution facilities.
• Participate in the implementation of the quality management system, BRCGS.
• Conduct product evaluations and review product specifications.
• Organize and prioritize corrective action and preventive action reports.

• Strong follow-up and follow-through skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in the food quality assurance industry.
• Knowledge of codes of federal regulations (101 through 123).
• Experience with HACCP, Food Safety Plans, and Foreign Supplier Verification Programs.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
