QualificationsRequired:
- ADN
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills
Preferred:
- BSN
- 1 year of experience as a Behavioral Health RN
- Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- Night shift, 35.3 hours 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Monday – Friday, every other weekend and holiday rotation
- Full time
- The Registered Nurse provides nursing care in the healthcare system within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards and ensures awareness of ethical standards as defined by the ANA code of ethics.
- Ensures safety in practice and applies evidence‑based practice, maintaining and advancing knowledge through communication and utilization of resources.
- Reports identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
- Possesses knowledge of the patient population served.
- Supervises and directs delegation of tasks to appropriate team members and collaborates with other patient‑care providers.
- Consistently sets and evaluates priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
- Functions as an individual practitioner and interdisciplinary team manager, utilizing the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and individualize the plan of care to address specific patient needs.
