Position: RN/LPN Unit Manager

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey

Shift: Full Time | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000 (Depending on experience)

Acclaim Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN or LPN Unit Manager to join our leadership team. In this key role, you will partner with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to ensure the highest standards of care and professionalism across the nursing department. You’ll oversee unit operations, guide staff, and help create a positive, compassionate environment for both residents and team members.

• Support the DON and ADON in the daily management of nursing operations.
• Supervise professional and non-professional nursing staff to ensure quality resident care.
• Ensure all nursing staff comply with facility policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Oversee unit scheduling and staffing to maintain appropriate coverage while minimizing overtime.
• Address staff and resident concerns, escalating issues appropriately to the DON.
• Implement counseling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Participate in quality assurance programs, care plan meetings, and relevant committees.
• Provide guidance, teaching, and hands-on demonstrations of clinical procedures and best practices.
• Oversee MDS completion and assist with resident discharge planning.
• Collaborate in the recruitment, interviewing, and selection of nursing staff.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and resident-centered care.

• Active RN or LPN license in the State of New Jersey.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing facility, or related healthcare setting.
• At least 6 months of experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing preferred.
• Prior long-term care experience highly desirable.
