Content Architect

We are seeking an experienced Content Architect to join our Creative Services team. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies that align with business and user needs. In this role, you will work closely with various stakeholders—such as SEO analysts, Engagement Managers, and project leads—to drive the success of content initiatives across digital assets. Your mission will be to ensure that content is strategically aligned, impactful, and effectively meets both business objectives and user expectations.

As the primary content advocate, you will lead content strategy discussions, provide insights to guide content creation, and ensure all content pieces support the customer journey while adhering to SEO, GEO and business goals.

You will also play a key role in maximizing the value of content by repurposing existing assets into new formats and channels to expand reach and impact.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Audience Research & Insights:
  • Leverage client-provided resources and data to gain insights into target audiences, including customer personas, previous research, and market reports.
  • Utilize secondary research sources (such as industry reports, competitor analysis, and digital analytics) to deepen understanding of audience behavior, needs, and preferences.
  • Synthesize insights from these resources to inform content topic ideation and guide the development of strategies that align with user needs at different stages of the customer journey.
  • Collaborate with SEO analysts to develop an optimized keyword strategy that aligns with content topics and SEO goals. Similarly, you will collaborate with analysts to understand the right themes and prompts to include for an effective GEO strategy.
  • Ensure content supports all segments of the customer journey, addressing different user needs and search intents.
  • Identify opportunities to repurpose high-performing content into new formats (e.g., blog posts into videos, case studies into infographics, or articles into social media posts) to increase engagement and maximize content ROI.
  • Recommend content formats, distribution channels, and additional asset opportunities to diversify content delivery and reach broader audiences.
  • Support the creation of detailed strategy briefs for writers and content creators, providing clear direction on tone, style, messaging, and target audience to ensure consistency and alignment with content strategy.
  • Content Calendar & Planning:
  • Develop and maintain content calendars to ensure timely delivery of content in alignment with business priorities, seasonal trends, and key industry events.
  • Provide quarterly topic opportunity reports that help clients prioritize content creation for the content calendar.
  • Lead efforts to repurpose existing content as part of the editorial planning to fill gaps or extend the lifecycle of high-value assets.
  • Present content strategies with clear, data-driven narratives that demonstrate how your approach meets business objectives and user needs.
  • Work with clients to ensure alignment between content strategy, business goals, and customer needs, and adjust strategies based on client feedback and evolving requirements.
  • Ongoing Evaluation & Optimization:
  • Regularly review content performance using analytics tools, adjusting strategies to improve engagement, conversions, and other KPIs.
  • Guide the iterative optimization of content by analyzing performance data, ensuring repurposed content meets key objectives and delivers measurable results.
  • Industry & Sector Expertise:
  • Stay informed about the latest trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies, particularly within the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector.
  • Support Content Production Manager in efforts to ensure content complies with sector regulations, including those governing financial services and privacy.
Required Qualifications

Experience:
  • 6+ years of experience working in an agency environment in content strategy and/or strategic planning, with a strong focus on leveraging or developing personas, user journey mapping, and working with creative teams.
  • Proven success in creating, executing, and optimizing content strategies, ideally in the BFSI sector or a similarly regulated industry.
Skills & Expertise:
  • Strong strategic thinking and the ability to align content strategies with broader business goals and objectives.
  • Experience with using AI to create efficiencies within workflows, and the ability to innovate new ways to enhance the way AI solutions can support the quality of our work.
  • Knowledge in creating SEO- and GEO-optimized content and driving performance through well-researched content.
  • Ability to uncover insights about target audiences through secondary research such as surveys, interviews, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment on content strategy.
