Customer onboarding is a critical phase of the customer lifecycle, directly impacting customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership success. This leader will deploy standardized onboarding methodologies, foster a strong project management and learning culture, and ensure alignment with global Customer Onboarding standards and initiatives. How you create impact- Provide national leadership for the U.S. Customer Onboarding function, guiding onboarding leaders and project managers through strong governance, coaching, and execution excellence.
- Drive both strategic evolution and day-to-day execution of the Customer Onboarding operating model to support scalable growth and consistency.
- Lead capability development by ensuring onboarding teams and Project Managers are fully trained, equipped, and prepared to meet Kuehne+Nagel and customer expectations.
- Assess skill gaps and partner with Corporate and Universal Standards teams to design and deliver targeted training and development programs.
- Deploy and enforce Global Customer Onboarding standards, project management methodologies, and risk governance across U.S. operations.
- Embed continuous improvement through lessons‑learned feedback loops, disciplined process control, and repeatable execution practices.
- Ensure effective use of onboarding technology and tools while delivering a seamless customer experience that minimizes operational and financial risk and supports customer retention and growth.
- 10–12 years of progressive experience in customer onboarding, implementation, project management, operations, or a related discipline within logistics, supply chain, or complex service environments.
- 5–7 years of people leadership experience, including leading managers, project managers, or cross‑functional teams.
- Demonstrated experience deploying standardized processes and governance across multiple sites or regions.
- Experience operating within a matrixed or global standards‑driven organization preferred.

Kuehne+Nagel reviews pay ranges regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay based on industry market data.
