The Asset Services Vice President (VP) is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of asset servicing events. This position requires strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and the ability to lead and develop a team focused on continuous improvement. The VP will oversee data analysis, reconciliation, transaction processing, and issue resolution related to complex voluntary corporate action events and other asset servicing functions, contributing to a culture of risk management and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Manage reconciling and processing positions related to Corporate Action events.
- Revise communications, notifications and facilitate postings for Corporate Action or Proxy events.
- Lead projects or provide solutions at an advanced level for assigned area.
- Resolve complex customer problems and consult with customers as required.
- Provide end‑to‑end project management, resource management, financial issues and risks to execution.
- Define, develop, implement and track appropriate KPIs and SLAs for the group.
- Recommend and implement systems and procedural enhancements for Asset Servicing.
- Liaise with internal and external clients to assess service quality and identify areas for improvement.
- Demonstrate advanced understanding of Asset Servicing operations and how the own area integrates with other departments to achieve business objectives.
- Supervise new or lower level personnel.
- Manage day‑to‑day resource allocation within the team/project; persuade and influence others through developed communication skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding the firm, its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, applying sound ethical judgment and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Senior level experience in a related role.
- Subject matter expert in at least one area of the function.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience.
- Bachelor’s/University degree;
Master’s degree preferred.
