As a Principal Technical Program Manager in Asset & Wealth Management Technology Team, you will lead complex, multi-functional technology projects and programs that will impact experiences for multiple groups across the firm, including clients, employees, and stakeholders. Your advanced analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will enable you to break down business, technical, and operational objectives into manageable tasks, while navigating through ambiguity and driving change.

The Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) Technology Strategy team partners with senior leaders to define and execute technology priorities, drive strategic initiatives, and support decision-making across the organization. Your problem-solving skills will help deliver projects that drive business goals and create value for clients, employees, and stakeholders. Applying a broad knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential to developing innovative solutions, along with leveraging analytical reasoning and adaptability skills to navigate through ambiguity and change.

Job responsibilities

* Lead the development technology strategy and priorities, and execution and delivery across the technology and business teams

* Scope problems, identify major issues and actionable opportunities, design solutions, and qualify the implications and "so whats"

* Conduct research and analysis on technology trends and innovation opportunities and perform competitor/industry research leveraging both public and non-public sources

* Work with team to develop work plans to test / evaluate strategies and insights which could span process improvement, organizational change, and functional strategy efforts

* Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, reports, and communications

* Advise and influence senior leaders and executives on key business decisions and major change initiatives

* Develop deep trust-based advisor relationships with key stakeholders and ensure client is satisfied throughout engagement

* Work collaboratively with team members across lines of business and cross-functional teams; maintain composure and presence in difficult stakeholder meets

* Identify potential roadblocks / obstacles and escalate issues as needed

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

* 10+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in large organizations

* Extensive knowledge and understanding of modern technology concepts, terminology, and strategies, including but not limited to artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data analytics and emerging technologies.

* A strong background in consulting, with a proven track record of successfully advising organizations on holistic technology strategy and implementation. Ability to quickly assess organizational needs and align technology initiatives-including AI, digital transformation, and infrastructure modernization-with business objectives, ensuring effective execution and measurable outcomes.

* Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough research and analysis across a broad range of technology domains, providing strategic recommendations to senior leaders on technology strategies, and innovation opportunities. Experience in developing and presenting comprehensive reports that influence decision-making at the executive level.

* Demonstrated ability to break down complex objectives into actionable tasks, manage projects through their lifecycle, and adapt to evolving business needs.

* Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets, presentation tools, and AI-powered applications to drive insights and efficiency.

* Experienced in planning and leading leadership meetings, strategic events, and managing multiple client projects and work streams.

* Collaborative team player, skilled in building solution roadmaps and developing junior team members through mentorship.
