Senior Windows Engineer/Architect

We are seeking an experienced Windows Server engineer/architect to lead the Windows infrastructure strategy, design, and automation across on‑prem and hybrid cloud environments. The role requires deep expertise with Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, scripting, and system management tools.

• Lead the Windows Server platform strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards.
• Design and implement scalable, secure Active Directory and DNS/DHCP solutions.
• Develop and enforce infrastructure design standards, automation frameworks, and configuration baselines.
• Architect and maintain hybrid infrastructure solutions across VMware, AWS, and Azure.
• Build and maintain automated server provisioning pipelines using Power Shell, Packer, and MDT.
• Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Dev Ops practices across the Windows platform.
• Automate SQL Server deployments and other infrastructure components to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
• Lead capacity planning, performance tuning, and proactive monitoring initiatives.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
• Design and implement resilient disaster recovery and high‑availability solutions.
• Partner with application teams to ensure infrastructure solutions meet business needs.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across global teams.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and audit teams to ensure regulatory alignment.

• 8+ years of experience in Windows Server engineering and architecture.
• 8+ years of hands‑on experience with Active Directory in multi‑site/multi‑domain environments.
• Strong Power Shell scripting and automation skills.
• Experience with System Center (SCCM, SCOM), MDT, and Orchestrator.
• Deep knowledge of DNS/DHCP/IPAM (Infoblox, Microsoft, or similar).
• Experience with AD Certificate Services, ADFS, AD RMS, and identity management.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure), virtualization (VMware, Cisco UCS), and physical servers.
• Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Packer, Varonis, and Quest AD tools.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (routing, switching, firewalls).
• Exposure to Linux systems for identity integration.
• Microsoft certifications (MCSE, MCM, MCA) preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
