Security Administrators are responsible for executing user access requests, maintaining access controls, and promoting data security awareness. They stay current with security technologies, assist in developing and installing security hardware and software, and provide security consulting to management. All lawful actions are authorized by management to prevent security violations and protect information.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing security controls for data and information security systems
- Planning and implementing security controls
- Providing daily security administration
- Reviewing audit trails and access violations, reporting issues
- Assisting users and resolving problems
- Responding to Help Desk calls and maintaining security databases
- Supporting Americas Offices and new systems
- Reviewing and adjusting security controls as needed
- Managing security for Head Office Systems and Trading Room applications
- Leading specific projects in security administration
Additional duties include:
- Developing and updating security procedures
- Documenting security processes and ensuring audit procedures are in place
- Supporting Business Continuity tests and acting as an alternate BPO during disaster recovery
- Staying informed on industry security trends
- Supporting audits by preparing reports and information
Candidates should have:
- At least two years of security administration experience, with knowledge of:
- Windows Active Directory
- Network/Internet Security (desirable)
- Microsoft Windows NT Server and Windows 2000/2003/2008 Server, Windows 7
- Lotus Notes 7.x and 8.x (desirable)
Additional preferred qualifications include:
- Banking experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of FFIEC standards
- Ability to work independently
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact with all management levels
