Ideal candidates will be local to New Jersey but we will consider out-of-state candidates willing to relocate if they are a great fit. This contract has no end date or tenure limit. Below is the job description. The client will interview very quickly.

• 5 years or more designing and architecting Cisco Router environments
• 1-2 years Nexus
• 2-3 Years of prior experience working in a Data Center environment
• 2 years of load balancers

Position Responsibilities

• Function as a WAN/LAN technology expert in the tier 3 global networks operations team.
• Design/Architect networks for Petfood Division Integration into the Data Center
• Network Architecture/Planning, Design and deploy network components for new sites and locations.
• This role will require candidate to research and recommend network hardware and architecture and integration methods.
• Management and participation in various router, switching, and firewall continuous improvement projects and activities.

• Nexus 7k
• Netscaler or f5 load balancers
• Strong understanding of network concepts, including TCP/IP, IPSEC, GRE, VPNs, EIGRP, BGP, QoS, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, VLANs
• Strong knowledge with proven experience in Cisco WAN and LAN technologies, including various router (8xx, 17xx, 18xx, 25xx, 26xx, 28xx, 36xx, 72xx) and switching (29xx, 35xx, 37xx, 65xx) platforms
• Experience working with carrier WAN technologies, including Ethernet, MPLS, frame relay, T1, and ISDN
• Experience in using bandwidth management solutions
• Experience in carrier interaction, including familiarity with carrier troubleshooting tools
• Experience working with global management tools for DNS and DHCP
• Ability to create detailed network topology maps using MS Visio
• Experience working with various network management tools and elements
• Experience working in a support environment, using various ITIL processes and tools (incident management, change management, etc.)
• This role focuses on the Network Cloud Infrastructure. They partner with Equinix who utilizes “Cloud Exchange” Technology
• It is a hybrid cloud environment
• This resource will also be helping to support integrating network services with the new acquisition of Royal Canin based in UK
• Cisco firewall and ASA experience a plus

• Experience with SDN and Cloud preferred
• Powershell Scripting
