* Roles and Responsibilities:

*** Participate in all phases of software engineering life cycle and troubleshoot technical problems as needed.
* Design, develop, and maintain applications, infrastructure, and platform according to changing requirements and following established processes and procedures.
* Developing, coding, and/or enhancing applications, features, infrastructure, user interfaces, and/or application frameworks.
* Test, debug, and/or oversee the testing and validation of applications to ensure that quality and functionality are in line with the requirements, as well as industry standards and protocols.
* Resolve production defects within defined SLA.
*
* Job Requirements:

*** Bachelors’ Degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience in the financial services or banking industry is preferred.
* Minimum 8 years of developing at all levels of the application stack (front end/UI REACT, Angular, middle/services, and back end/database)
* Experience with Java and Java frameworks
* Experience implementing and maintaining RESTful APIs
* Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
* Experience in designing data models and structures to store various kinds of data in different formats
* Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Unix /Linux based environments
* Experience with RDBMS based databases such as Oracle and SQL Server or No

SQL DBs such as Dynamo

DB.
* Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box)
* Experience with monitoring systems
* Knowledgeable in CI/CD principles
* Knowledgeable in Dev Ops workflow tooling
* Knowledgeable on Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
* Great to have experience with Nice Actimize, CGI Hot Scan products or Sanction screening system.
** Other:
*** As per MUFG’s Return to Office policy, a candidate must work onsite for 4 days and 1 day remotely out of Jersey City, NJ.
* The typical base pay range for this role is between $102K - $154K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location.
