Senior Oracle PL​/SQL Developer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join a global team of software engineers supporting high-quality application development in the financial trading industry.

This role requires deep expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, strong data analysis skills, and a collaborative mindset to deliver scalable and efficient database solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex PL/SQL code including stored procedures, triggers, functions, and views.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Analyze large datasets and support ETL processes using tools such as SQL Loader.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Work in a Linux environment using basic Unix commands for database operations.
• Support database modeling and design efforts.
• Contribute to the development of scalable and secure database solutions aligned with business needs.
• Communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer.
• Strong RDBMS skills including SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and user privileges.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of database queries.
• Proficiency in ETL processes and tools such as SQL Loader.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and Unix shell commands.
• Experience working in Agile development teams.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.

• Experience in the financial industry, particularly in Capital Markets or Securities Finance.
• Knowledge of financial industry terminology and data structures.
• Familiarity with Core Java, Python, and scheduling tools such as Control-M.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Exposure to CI/CD practices and version control for database development.
