As an Executive Director of Infrastructure Engineering within Network Services, you apply deep engineering knowledge of software, applications, technical systems, and technical processes across multiple specialized disciplines to build and deliver trusted secure, stable, and scalable technical solutions. Consistently drive adoption and implementation of technical methods in specialized fields or areas in line with product development methodologies. You will lead the strategic planning, deployment, and optimization of the firm s global telecommunications and network infrastructure to ensure robust, scalable, and secure connectivity across all business units, focusing on fiber networks, lit services, DIA, Satellite, and next-generation network technologies.

The Executive Director will collaborate with technology, business, and risk partners to deliver innovative, resilient, and cost-effective network solutions that support the firm s objectives.

• Applies technical expertise to multiple large-scope strategic projects with enterprise-wide impact (e.g., infrastructure technology, architecture design, and performance monitoring) to influence, manage and implement strategic technology platforms.
• Develop and execute comprehensive network strategies, focusing on fiber infrastructure, lit services, DIA, satellite, and other advanced connectivity solutions.
• Lead a team of skilled network planners and provisioners.
• Oversee the end-to-end deployment, management, and optimization of fiber networks, lit services, and DIA across all JPMC locations.
• Evaluate emerging network technologies and architectures to enhance performance, scalability, and security.
• Work with vendors to drive continuous improvement in network performance, resiliency, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate to drive positive, lasting organizational, operational, and technological change.
• Advise on and lead the development and strategy of multiple projects.
• Drive thought leadership throughout the organization.
• Partner across platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize technology processes.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers and technologists.
• Champion the firm s culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.

• 10+ years of progressive experience in network planning and telecom management, including leadership roles within large, complex organizations.
• Deep expertise in fiber networks, lit services, DIA, and related network technologies.
• Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and cost optimization for network infrastructure.
• Extensive knowledge in two or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, and performance assessments.
• Extensive knowledge of multiple infrastructure technologies and programming languages (e.g., scripting, Python).
• Proven ability to conceptualize, launch, and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budget.
• Adept at partnering closely with, and acting as a trusted advisor to, stakeholders across the firm.
• Extensive automation experience.

• Experience managing and developing budgets.
• Experience with large-scale network transformations or migrations in financial services.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., FCC, GDPR, NYDFS).
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices in network environments.
