Salary: $200K – $250K base  no third parties

** We are looking for a senior executive to lead the evolution of analytics, reporting, and data capabilities supporting Claims. This role will own the vision and execution of a modern data and insights ecosystem that enables smarter decisions, operational efficiency, and measurable business impact. The VP will play a critical role in shaping how Claims leaders use data, analytics, and emerging technologies to drive transformation.
** Responsibilities:
*** Define and execute the Claims data, analytics, and business intelligence strategy, aligning multi-year initiatives with enterprise priorities while advancing self-service analytics, advanced insights, and scalable data capabilities.
* Provide executive leadership and organizational direction by building, mentoring, and inspiring a high-performing global team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Partner with senior leadership and enterprise stakeholders to identify business needs, shape strategic data initiatives, and deliver actionable insights that drive informed decision-making across Claims, Underwriting, and Actuarial functions.
* Lead end-to-end analytics and data solution delivery, including dashboards, data products, predictive models, and AI/ML-enabled capabilities that support Claims transformation, operational excellence, and competitive advantage.
* Establish strong data governance and drive change adoption, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance while embedding a sustainable, data-driven culture through communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.
** Skills Needed:
*** Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
* 10+ years of experience within the P&C insurance sector, with a strong emphasis on analytics, data, or business intelligence; direct Claims experience strongly preferred.
* Proven history of building and scaling enterprise analytics or BI capabilities and leading large data transformation efforts.
* Strong understanding of Claims data, performance metrics, and operational drivers.
* Hands-on familiarity with leading BI and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense) and analytical tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
* Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders, lead cross-functional initiatives, and deliver tangible business results.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Experience deploying AI or machine learning solutions in real-world operational settings is highly valued.
* Highly organized, execution-oriented, and comfortable operating in a dynamic, evolving environment.
