COTS Testing – Varicent Responsibilities
- Testing complex calculation streams, business rules (e.g., accelerators, clawbacks, and quotas), and payout models for accuracy.
- Verifying automated data flows between Varicent and external systems like CRM (Salesforce)
- Executing test cases for core Varicent modules
- Collaborating with sales and finance stakeholders to validate that the platform reflects real-world compensation scenarios.
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs using tools like JIRA, and working with developers to ensure timely fixes before monthly commission cycles.
- Minimum 2 3 years of hands‑on experience with the Varicent (formerly IBM ICM) platform.
- SQL skills for data validation, querying large datasets, and checking table‑level calculations.
- Understandingentscheidung of Sales Performance Management (SPM) and Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) processes.
- Familiar 신규 with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright, and languages such as Java or Python.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with active participation in sprint planning and stand‑ups.
