Senior Technology Manager-Analytics and Automation
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to fill the role of Head of Network Operations (Net Ops) Analytics and Automation within the Core Technology Infrastructure section of a Banking institution. This critical position will drive the evolution and transformation of network operations through data-driven insights and innovative automation solutions at a global scale. The Head of Network Operations (Net Ops) Analytics and Automation will be responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive strategy to optimize network availability and performance, enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk.
Location:
Jersey City, NJ, United States,Hybrid work environment, 3 days in the office and 2 days remote
Compensation: 190K-240K USD
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in network automation, analytics & AI-driven automation, with strong operational excellence and communication skills. This individual will lead a global team responsible for the development and implementation of advanced analytics and AI solutions, centralized reporting, and self-healing / automation capabilities that minimize downtime and improve operational agility.
Responsibilities:
- Builds and manages teams by performing financial activities to inform workforce strategy and hiring practices, setting and tracking maturity and quality objectives, and training employees/teams to address feedback and achieve quality and performance objectives
- Facilitates performance and career development of employees/teams through performance reviews, coaching, and creating development plans that are needed to build competencies and skills
- Manages solution delivery and application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews), ensuring all relevant risk, financial, and compliance policies are met
- Manages relationships with business and technology partners and leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization
- Contributes to the technology strategy for their technical domain
- Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers
- Ensures that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with product management and other stakeholders
- Develop, maintain and execute a comprehensive analytics and automation roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Drive automation-first strategies that reduce manual effort, improve efficiency, and enhance reliability across network operations.
- Lead a high-performing global team of analysts and software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure network automation complies with relevant regulatory requirements, security requirements and industry standards.
- Establish Key Performance Indicators and Service-Level Objectives to measure operational effectiveness.
