Network Security Engineer

• Strong knowledge of Internetworking theory and Network Security practical applications
• Working knowledge of Network Management Systems
• Strong working knowledge of various diagnostic tools including Sniffer or similar.
• IP routing: BGP, VRRP/HSRP/GLBP, GRE, IPSec, OSPF, PIM, QoS
• Cisco switch and router hardware/software: IOS, CatOS, Nexus, 6500, 7200, 7600, 4900, 3900, 3800, 2900
• Juniper Firewalls:
  Netscreen 208, 5200, ISG 1000/2000, SSG series, SRX series
• F5 Load Balancing: LTM, GTM
• Proxies:
  Blue Coat, Cisco CCE
• McAfee Web Gateway (formerly Web Washer)
• Knowledge of Multicast networks, including market data distribution networks.
• Minimum of ten years professional experience with at least five years supporting tier‑one global financial organizations.
• Problem‑solving skills with an emphasis on resolution of complex technical problems and demonstrated ability to quickly understand complex systems
• Strong leadership skills with ability to focus and perform in time‑sensitive high‑pressure environment
• Strong interpersonal skills, including strong verbal, written communication skills and excellent listening skills are required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering highly desirable
