** We are seeking a highly experienced Platform Architect.

Additional Information The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Jersey City, NJ is $130k - $140k/year & benefits (see below).
** The Role
**** Responsibilities:
*** Define the end-to-end architecture for Developer Experience platform capabilities (SDKs, templates, portal, Dev Sec Ops  workflows).
* Establish “golden paths” for service delivery: scaffolding standards, repo/bootstrap patterns, and platform guardrails.
* Own technical standards for Git Ops patterns, environment promotion, and versioned platform assets (templates/Helm/SDKs).
* Drive cross-cutting non-functional requirements: security-by-default, observability-by-default, and testability-by-default.
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship across backend/framework, Dev Ops, security, and QA engineers.
* Partner with stakeholders to build and execute a roadmap that reduces developer toil and improves delivery velocity.
** Requirements:
*** Platform Engineering / Dev Ex: internal platform product mindset, developer workflow optimization, golden-path design.
* Internal Developer Portal: architecture, service catalog concepts, scaffolding/template workflows, plugin/integration patterns.
* Cloud-Native Architecture:
Kubernetes operating model, Helm-based delivery patterns, multi-environment rollout strategies.
* IaC & Standardization:
Terraform module strategy, reusable infrastructure patterns, policy/guardrail alignment.
* CI/CD & Git Ops:
Git Ops operating model, pipeline governance, release/version strategies for shared assets.
* Observability Strategy: metrics/logs/traces standards, Open Telemetry concepts, SLO/SLA alignment.
* AWS/Azure Solutions Architect (preferred).
* Kubernetes CKA/CKAD (preferred).
