Our team is looking for a skilled Infrastructure Storage Engineer to design, deploy, manage, and optimize enterprise storage systems critical to our trading infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of storage technologies, storage fabrics, backup and recovery processes, and automation.

Tradeweb Technology jobs are fully remote and Tradeweb is a global company. Tradeweb’s major technology hubs are located in the New York City area and London. There may be days where travel to these hubs is recommended for team meetings and collaboration efforts.

• Design, implement, automate and maintain global storage solutions, including SAN, NAS and local object storage and backup systems.

• Collaborate proactively with application and database teams to optimize performance of our storage systems.

• Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot:

• Storage System storage performance and capacity issues.

• Fabric Systems performance and capacity.

• Configure and manage storage replication, snapshots, and cloning technologies.

• Automate wherever possible, such as

• Storage provisioning and DR failover with reporting and diagnostic upkeep.

• Data protection and compliance checks

• Any repetitive tasks that can be automated

• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, database, and application teams to understand storage needs and ensure alignment with business goals.

• Continually optimize the storage environment for performance, scalability and cost.

• Develop and maintain documentation related to storage architectures, processes, and procedures.

• Participate in on-call rotation and provide tier-3 support for critical storage-related incidents.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, related field, or equivalent work experience.

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise storage engineering and operations.

• Deep technical knowledge in storage systems (e.g., Dell EMC, Net App, Pure Storage, Hitachi).

• Deep understanding of protocols like iSCSI, NFS, SMB/CIFS, Fibre Channel, and object storage (S3, Swift).

• Strong understanding of Database and Application performance and recovery on large/small storage systems.

• Strong understanding of performance metrics (e.g. IOPS, Latency, throughput).

• Strong automation mindset is a must, solves problems by automating

• Strong systems skills, on Windows and Linux systems.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Experience in a high-performance environment including low latency database.

• with backup/recovery solutions (e.g., Rubrik and Veeam).
