PL​/SQL Developer

Base pay range

$55.00/hr - $65.00/hr

Kforce has a client in Jersey City, NJ that is seeking a PL/SQL Developer.

• 8+ years of hands‑on experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer
• 5+ years of experience working in the financial industry is a plus
• Strong RDBMS skills – SQL querying, writing stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, user privileges, object privileges, etc.
• Strong data analysis, problem‑solving, and design skills with a desire to continually learn and grow in a collaborative team environment
• Has performed performance tuning of stored procedures and queries
• Knows ETL processes to load large volumes of data at speed, e.g., SQL Loader, etc.
• Has experience in a Linux environment and knows basic Unix commands
• Experience working with a team in Agile methodology
• Experience in database modeling
• Strong data analysis, design, and coding experience in the financial industry, preferably in capital markets / securities finance
• Understands glossaries and terminologies in the financial industry
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams
• Motivated and able to deliver end‑to‑end solutions
• Good communication skills with both technology folks and business partners
• Quick learner, adaptable, with the right attitude to work across teams to find and deploy solutions
• Knowledge of Core Java, Python, scheduling tool like Control‑M is nice to have
• AWS Cloud experience is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract, and business needs. This range may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
