Job Title:
Qlik Sense Developer
Location:
Basking Ridge, NJ (Hybrid 2-3 days weekly onsite)
Duration:
Long Term Contract
Responsibilities:
- Defines business enhancement and reporting requirements, including baseline functionality and system enhancements to augment business functions.
- Plans, designs and develops innovative BI solutions using an enterprise data warehouse environment.
- Provides overall guidance for data quality and business reporting.
- Develops and documents BI coding and naming standards, templates and metadata.
- Provides technical and functional development of reporting solutions and data analysis.
- Ensures BI environment is optimized to address business requirements by designing and creating tables, diagnosing and repairing user and performance issues, and testing, monitoring and tuning software.
- Prepares training material.
- Four or more years of relevant work experience.
- Hands‑on experience in Qlik Sense and Thoughtspot, data modeling, and dashboard design concepts.
- Strong in UI/UX design principles, wireframes, and storyboards.
- Certified in Qlik Sense Data Architect and Qlik Sense Business Analyst.
- Hands‑on experience in developing best‑in‑class Visualization and self‑serve analytics using Qlik Sense that adheres to industry design standards.
SKILLS:
- Experience with other BI tools like Tableau and Looker.
- Experience with design and implementation of ETL framework for complex data platforms using KNIME or Alteryx.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience building E2E scalable mid to large size business intelligence (BI) solutions (data sets, queries, reports, dashboards, analyses or components of larger solutions to answer business questions with data).
- Experience handling large volumes of data across multiple platforms including traditional (Teradata, Oracle) and Cloud‑Based (Google Cloud, AWS) for scalable and efficient BI solutions.
- Experience investigating and solving complex technical problems and data discrepancies.
- Experience working with Business Intelligence systems to provide diagnostic self‑serve information to clients and business units.
- Ability to develop solutions that align tactical solutions with strategic goals.
- Ability to lead and facilitate cross functional teams of managers and directors to gain consensus and execute to deliver results.
- Experience in process and requirements documentation.
- Knowledge of analytics platforms and augmented intelligence platforms.
- Ability to work without close supervision and can communicate and manage priorities effectively to meet deliverables.
CERTIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, or other Quantitative Fields or four or more years of work experience.
- Four or more years of relevant work experience.
