Our client is looking to fill the role of IT Project Manager. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the organization’s IT Projects. They will work closely with stakeholders to identify project requirements, develop project plans and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the stakeholders. They will also be responsible for managing project teams, monitoring project progress, and ensuring that project deliverables are met.

The ideal candidate must have Insurance Industry (property and casualty) experience, as well as experience with AMS (Sagitta/Image Right preferred). Candidates must have Waterfall Project Management experience, as well as experience with Project Management systems (Smartsheet preferred).

This role is a contract, with an hourly rate of $70/hour. The ideal candidate would be hybrid to one of the client’s US based offices.

• Leading and managing IT projects from inception to completion.
• Identifying project requirements and ensuring they are met.
• Developing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Ensure that project documentation is complete and kept up to date.
• Collaborates with other IT functional areas to maintain and contribute to project success.
• Identifying and managing project risks.
• Monitoring project progress and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans.
• Acts as point of contact, information hub, and escalation point for projects.
• Works closely with IT colleagues to measure and improve services.
• Conducting project closure evaluations to identify areas of improvement.

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree.
• Insurance Industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years IT experience in project management or product management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Possesses a positive and team attitude.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high demand, team oriented, and fast-paced environment.
