Data Analyst

• Acts as a data analyst with subject matter expertise related to advisory data (e.g. Accounts, Positions, Transactions, Instruments, Proposal/Models, Portfolio Construction and Performance Reporting).
• Analyzes, defines and prioritizes the data transformation requirements and functional or operational specifications in collaboration with Wove product managers, data architects, data engineering, and data owners.
• Performs data mining and analysis to determine impact assessment.
• Develop and maintain data lineage documentation and mappings to support data governance, regulatory, compliance, and data lineage analysis activities.

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
• Typically requires 8-12 years of total work experience, preferably in securities or financial services.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality management concepts, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and people skills, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities under pressure.
• You will have strong analytical skills, are familiar with Agile methodology and played an active role in scrums such as backlog refinement, sprint planning and execution.
• Uses SQL or Python for data mining purposes to troubleshoot data conditions in relational databases.
• SQL skills required 8-10 years of data analysis querying skills/PL SQL skills/Big Data analysis.
• Experience with Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, Mongo
  
  DB, Colibra a plus.
