Job Description Responsibilities- Assist in the identification/resolution of critical path issues related to the generation of technical specifications and associated Informatica ETL development
- Provide solutions to design and develop ETL mappings and related activities; ability to articulate in architecture terms
- Strong ability to author technical solution documents, and architecture components
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to data integration issues
- Work together with the business intelligence team to design and develop reporting and dashboard solutions
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation on developments
- Provide solutions to fine tune ETLs and database components for performance
- Provide testing strategy and support execution
- Provide deployment and release management strategy and support
- BS in Computer Science or related IT field, or equivalent work experience required
- Experience:
3-5 years development experience with database solutions (Oracle SQL, PL/SQL) and Unix scripting - Hands on development experience 5+ years’ experience in data integration (ETL) specifically in Informatica Power Center 9.5 and above
- Experience in developing data warehouse solutions in the Finance industry
- Ability to analyze information architectures understands and derives business requirements
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment
- Proactive thinking and ability to work under minimal supervision
- Excellent analytical and communication skills and ability to deal effectively with customers
- Good communication skills both oral and written to be able to work with both the technical and banking users
- Strong project experience in providing data integration solutions to Data Warehouse and/or Data Mart implementations
