The team drives technology and digital transformation, partners with business leaders to design and execute new strategies through IT and operations services, and ensures the necessary IT risk management and security measures are in place and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
AboutThe Role
The Senior Network Services Architect will work within the Network Services Architecture organization, focusing on global architecture, standardization, automation, tools, and emerging technologies. The candidate will support the Network Services portfolio, create reference architectures, develop standards, and lead the design and deployment of large enterprise solutions.
Responsibilities- Support the Network Services portfolio and collaborate cross‑organizationally across the global enterprise.
- Develop reference architectures, present to Architecture Boards, and drive standards based on business requirements.
- Ascertain business requirements, research and recommend solutions with a technical business case.
- Develop project and deployment plans meeting scope, time, cost, and quality requirements.
- Assess risk, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using industry standard tools, including packet analyzers.
- Provide technical leadership and strategic direction in alignment with security, compliance, and firm objectives.
- Mentor network engineers and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Lead audit and compliance reporting efforts and develop remediation plans.
- Recommend and oversee implementation of new networking technologies and automation.
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical network outages and participate in capacity management.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related work experience.
- 15+ years of experience with enterprise network solutions, including cloud and remote networks, software‑defined networking, automation, routing, switching, VoIP, Wi‑Fi, etc.
- Strong background in route/switch software‑defined data center solutions (Cisco ACI, Arista Cloud Vision, Aruba Clearpass, AppViewX) and F5 Load Balancing.
- Knowledge of DDI, secure proxy, DDoS, Zero Trust Networking, NAC, firewall, Azure, and AWS.
- Demonstrated expertise designing and deploying large‑enterprise solutions and orchestrating network performance optimization.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills; able to operate as a level 3 resource during outage situations.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Detail‑oriented with strong research skills.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $125,000 to $145,000 for Jersey City, NJ. The role is eligible for a discretionary bonus and a range of competitive benefits as part of the total compensation package.
Work LocationThis position is based in the Houston, TX or Jersey City, NJ office and follows a hybrid working policy, offering colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
Estimated TravelMay include up to 25% travel.
