Genesis
10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, maintain, and test software, collaborating with the development team and business partners to ensure successful delivery and implementation of application solutions in an agile environment.

Design and implement Tableau dashboards.

Perform performance tuning of reports and dashboards.

Develop and modify PL/SQL, SQL Views in Oracle.

Create new tables or modify existing table structures.

Conduct performance tuning and understand explain plans.

Apply normalization, renormalization, and star schema design principles.

Develop stored procedures, database triggers, and SQL queries.

Create test cases and perform unit testing.

Provide regular task status updates to management.

Requirements:

5-7 years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL, Python, and Data warehousing.

Hands-on experience with successful on-time delivery without defects.

Ability to analyze, design, and support Oracle PL/SQL packages, perform data modeling, create/modify database tables based on business requirements, and source new data using Informatica ETL.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to interact and coordinate with a distributed team.

Good communication skills.

Pay range:

$58.26 - $66.26
