Overview

A school district in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a licensed School Psychologist to support students across multiple grade levels, including elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12). This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment, providing essential psychological services that promote student well-being and academic success.

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support student mental health
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies accordingly

• Valid state license as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with students across K-12 grade levels
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a school setting
