Location: Jersey City Medical Center, 355 Grand Street, Jersey City, NJ 07302

Department: Operating Room

Shift: Day

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM;
Part Time;
Alternating Weekends, holidays and call coverage

Pay Range: $30.65 – $37.58 per hour (New Jersey)

A member of the surgical team, acting under the direction of a Registered Nurse, who works with the surgeon and RN in delivering patient care and assuming appropriate responsibility before, during, and after surgery.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an OR Technician training program
• 2–3 years of experience
• Strong knowledge of scrubbing various service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to make calls, flexible, multitask, and work independently

• Certified Surgical Technician (required)
• NBSTSA Certification (required)
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification (American Heart Association)
