What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Oversee full lifecycle acquisition activities for complex contracts, including pre-award, award, and post-award support
  • Conduct market research and prepare pre-award notices and small business capability analyses
  • Develop acquisition strategies, Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), and recommendations for solicitation approaches
  • Prepare solicitations and ensure compliance with federal regulations such as FAR and VAAR
  • Monitor contractor performance and resolve performance issues while mentoring junior acquisition staff
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Accountancy
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in conducting comprehensive acquisition support activities
  • Specialized experience in developing and administering construction or A-E solicitations and contracts
  • Must have stayed/worked in the US within the last 10 years to pass the VA background investigation
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • FAC-C or DAWIA Level III in Contracting Certification
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to mentor acquisition staff
  • Experience with complex service solicitations and contracts, particularly in healthcare
