Job Description
The Equity Settlement Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate settlement of global securities transactions. This position supports operational processes related to trade settlement, cash management, and specialized functions such as asset servicing and wire payment operations. The role requires strong attention to detail, compliance awareness, and the ability to resolve complex issues efficiently. Responsibilities include executing and monitoring global securities settlements, proactively resolving breaks, confirmations, and discrepancies to ensure timely and accurate processing.
Managing daily cash movements and ensuring all activity is accurately recorded within the bank’s books and records. Providing subject‑matter guidance on corporate actions and entitlements while serving as a backup for team members and the manager, as needed. Support workflow coordination, quality control efforts, and participate in training initiatives to maintain operational excellence. Maintain strict adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements, including SEC, FINRA, and Regulation 204 buy‑in rules.
Identify, assess, and elevate process risks, and support business continuity planning and testing initiatives.

- 2-4 years of experience securities settlement or capital markets operations.
- Proficiency in relevant systems and tools.
- Previous FI experience
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management principles.
- Broadridge platforms: BPS, GFW, Post Edge
- Clearing and settlement portals: DTCC - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field
